ISD COACHES JOINED COACHING FOR A GREATER PURPOSE
Despite the start of the academic year being an extremely busy time, several ISD coaches joined other coaches from over a dozen international schools at the first Coaching for a Greater Purpose Conference.
By bringing coaches from across Europe together the alliance aims to help raise the level of coaching and to provide coaches with an opportunity to forge relationships “across enemy lines”. The concept of “greater purpose” is a way to put to words the desire to create opportunities for coaches to learn about how they can make an impact on their players, teams, communities, and the world beyond.

- Building a Coaching Philosophy,
- Prevention Before Intervention: Inside Look into Coaching Gender Differences in Athletes,
- Coaching to Create a Quality Mindset,
- How to Create High-Performance Teams Using the Latest Science,
- and Intercultural Competence and Managing Diversity.
This years' keynote speaker was John O'Sullivan. John is an internationally known TEDx Speaker and the founder of the Changing the Game Project, which he started in 2012. He is the author of two #1 bestselling books and a leading youth sports blogger and he is the host of the top-rated Way of Champions coaching podcast.
We are happy to share that ISD will be the host for the next conference in January 2024.
