WE LEARN TO BE OURSELVES

At ISD, we do not expect our students to adapt to a fixed learning environment; we adapt the learning environment to suit each child’s individual needs. We welcome students with different interests, talents, and character traits and we support them to become the very best version of themselves.

Flexibility is a hallmark of learning at our school, as we allow students freedom to be curious, and to discover connections between their passions and their talents.

WE ARE A LEARNING COMMUNITY

Community life at ISD is particularly special. We provide opportunities for parents to socialise, to volunteer, to explore new passions, and to be active participants in their child’s learning. Whether you are into sport, art and design, music, languages, or simply connecting with friends, there is something for everyone who joins our big international family.

WE LEARN TO BE WORLD CITIZENS

To be a world citizen is a life-long learning process. At ISD we learn to see each other as individuals rather than as members of groups. Being a world citizen for us means demonstrating the open-mindedness, flexibility, and curiosity which enables us to appreciate not only our many differences, but also our common humanity.

We strive to overcome barriers and use our gained understanding to care for each other and to cooperate for the common good.
