Every year, ISD offers a range of fun and inspiring summer camps, both for ISD students as well as for students attending other local schools.
ISD summer camps are a great opportunity for students to meet others and make friends before the start of the school year, practise their English, and have fun while improving their skills or learning new skills. Children aged 7-18 years are invited to join our English-speaking Spring Soccer Camp for four days of fun and skills-building! Whether you're an experienced player or just starting out, our excellent coaches will help you improve your game and develop new skills.

KINDER CAMPS (June | July | August )
Our Kinder Camps are a fun-filled, one-week programme designed for children ages 4 to 6, with an exciting mix of arts and crafts, interactive games, and other engaging activities to spark creativity and curiosity. Each day, campers will enjoy hands-on projects, active play, and group activities that encourage social skills and self-expression. With a nurturing environment and experienced instructors, children will build confidence while making new friends. Join us for a summer adventure full of imagination, laughter, and learning!
All Kinder Camps take place at the ISD Elementary School and run from 09:00 to 14:00, with After-Camp Care available until 16:00.

ACTIVITIES CAMPS (June | July | August )
Students in grades 1 to 5 are invited to join us for a fun-packed summer Activities Camp. Our young campers will explore their creativity through arts and crafts. Our fun play sessions promote teamwork while keeping everyone active. Experienced instructors provide guidance and encouragement in a safe, welcoming space. This is a great chance to spark imagination and make new friends. Join us for a summer adventure full of imagination, laughter, and learning!
All Activities Camps take place at the ISD Elementary School and run from 09:00 to 14:00, with After-Camp Care available until 16:00.

LANGUAGE CAMPS (August)
This year we are pleased to offer both English and German language camps for students aged 8 to 16. ISD Language Camps support students’ language learning so that they are able to communicate with confidence, equipping them with transferable skills within the communicative disciplines of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Each session is led by a teacher with pedagogical training in language instruction, who is able to create an enjoyable and safe learning environment. .
All Lanuage Camps take place at the ISD Senior School and run from 09:00 to 14:00.

PERFORMING ARTS CAMPS (August)
Step into the spotlight at our one-week Theatre, Theatre Tech, and Music Camps for students aged 8 to 16.
- Young performers will explore acting, improvisation, and stagecraft in a fun and supportive setting. Through engaging workshops, creative exercises, and group performances, participants will build confidence, develop their storytelling skills, and bring characters to life.
- Young musicians will compose and perform in solo and group ensembles, and learn music technology! Through a diverse range of music, including classical, jazz, and pop, students can learn new instruments or develop advanced skills on instruments they already play.
- Budding technicians will learn how to run sound and lights for performance events, the practical basics of the sound and light board, and technical artistic choces made for performance.
The week concludes with a special showcase for family and friends. No experience is necessary, just a passion for performance! All Performing Arts Camps take place in the ISD Performing Arts Department and run from 09:00 to 14:00.

VISUAL ARTS CAMPS (August)
Unleash your creativity in our two intensive workshops for students aged 8 to 16, led by talented young artists from Düsseldorf. At the end of both workshops you will have a completed work to take home.
- Our ceramics workshop covers a range of techniques, including the use of the pottery wheel, handbuilding, and glazing, exploring traditional skills as well as experimental approaches. Be ready to get your hands dirty!
- Our painting and textiles workshop covers a range of media and techniques, including watercolour, acrylic and mixed media, while the textiles component includes machine-sewing, hand-sewing, and appliqué.
All Visual Arts Camps take place at the ISD Senior School Art Studio and run from 09:00 to 14:00.
