Founded in 1968, the International School of Düsseldorf (ISD) is a not-for-profit, independent, co-educational day school located in the heart of the international community of Kaiserswerth. One of the oldest and largest international schools in Germany, ISD offers both national and international qualifications to around 900 students from over 50 countries. Due to its non-profit status, all income is invested back into the school for the benefit of the students. The school has a proud history of supporting young people to pursue their dreams and ambitions, in all walks of life, and in all corners of the globe. ISD delivers an outstanding education that prepares students to be successful and inspires them to make a difference; an education that will equip them with the skills and aptitudes to tackle the global challenges they will face. ISD is committed to providing every student with the individual support they need to flourish, to discover pleasure in learning, to become autonomous and intrinsically motivated, and, ultimately, to become architects of their own futures. The International School of Düsseldorf takes great pride in being the only school in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region that is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IB). ISD is also a member of the Association of German International Schools (AGIS) and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). |

Die Internationale Schule Düsseldorf (ISD) wurde 1968 gegründet und ist eine gemein- nützige, unabhängige, koedukative Tagesschule im Herzen der internationalen Gemeinschaft von Kaiserswerth. Als eine der ältesten und größten internationalen Schulen in Deutschland bietet die ISD rund 900 Schülern aus über 50 Ländern nationale und internationale Qualifikationen an. Alle Einnahmen werden wieder in die Schule investiert und kommen den Schülern zugute. Die Schule kann auf eine stolze Geschichte zurückblicken, in der sie junge Menschen dabei unterstützt, ihre Träume und Ambitionen in allen Lebensbereichen und in allen Teilen der Welt zu verwirklichen. Die ISD bietet eine hervorragende Ausbildung, die die Schüler darauf vorbereitet, erfolgreich zu sein, und sie dazu inspiriert, etwas zu bewegen; eine Ausbildung, die sie mit den Fähigkeiten und Fertig- keiten ausstattet, um die globalen Herausforderungen, denen sie sich stellen müssen, zu bewältigen. Die ISD ist bestrebt, jedem Schüler die individuelle Unterstützung zu geben, die er benötigt, um zu gedeihen, Freude am Lernen zu entdecken, autonom und intrinsisch motiviert zu werden und schließlich zum Architekten seiner eigenen Zukunft zu werden. Die International School of Düsseldorf ist sehr stolz darauf, die einzige Schule in der Metropol- region Rhein-Ruhr zu sein, die vom Council of International Schools (CIS), der New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) und der International Baccalaureate Organisation (IB) voll akkreditiert ist.
