Physical education

The physical education programme provides a foundation for every student’s physical and social development. It also is designed to develop positive attitudes towards physical activities and to promote life long involvement in sport.

The programme is co-educational and structured to provide students with a wide range of activities, which include physical movement and exercise, recreational activities as well as sport.

The students’ physical education programme is developmental and aims to develop fitness and positive body awareness. Co-operation, positive attitudes, leadership opportunities and team activities all are inherent to the programme. They are emphasized through individual and team activities, which include the learning of regulations, strategies, biomechanics, fair play and safety.
